Hello Potential Buyers, Sellers and Traders!

With version 1.1 (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?993-Pocket-Legends-1.1-for-iPhone-is-available-NOW!) you can now gift an item to another player in game. The current implementation doesn't allow for secure trading, where you could give something and receive something in the same trade. So, if you want to exchange items, you will currently have to trust that one of the parties involved in the trade will actually give their item.

With that in mind, please only trade items to people who you feel will go through with an exchange. Otherwise, please just use the current system as it is intended - to give items to another character.

If someone says they will give you an item in exchange for an item you have, you give it to them and then they don't go through with the exchange, well, that's possible. In a nutshell, mean people suck :(

So, please be careful when setting up to exchange items! Thanks!

PS: Yes, we're aware that a secure method to trade items is a desired feature.

I'm probably going to be trading exclusively to trusted forum members and my guildies.

I mainly like this system because its not for marketing, its more like I'm in a dungeon and I get a mage item so I give it to the mage. It does help a lot, especially when you spend hours or days trying to get a specific item.

i mean if i give someone an item, is there a log to trace it?

so if ever a scam happened on our precious items (just kidding haha), we can report it to you and you guys decide what to do :D

For my 0.02 Platinum, this is not a good idea. I'm not sure of the scope, but there seem to be a lot of people playing Pocket Legends. If the game is as big as I think it is, checking those logs could be a full-time job. I'd rather have the Devs focused on making nifty content and expanding the game, not enforcing fair trades. Besides, once the Devs release a version with secure trading (as they have said they will do), then this issue will become moot.

Trade with people you trust.
Don't get too attached to your in-game l00t, especially if you're trying to trade it.
If someone cheats you, logoff from Pocket Legends and go outside for a bit. :)
Finally, if you're really worried about it, wait for the Devs to give us a secure trading option.
