Hello my small (yet amazing) group of readers.

Today I wanted to share some tips on how to handle negative comments and deal with online bullying.

Nearly every webpage these days has a comment section. Unfortunately everyone's a critic and it's a tough crowd!
If you have ever felt bullied, or taken a comment to heart, listen to what I have to say.

1. It's not personal. It really isn't ;)
2. Don't allow it to get to you. For every 1 negative comment, there are 10 positive comments. Ignore the negative minority, focus on the positive majority.
3. Look at constructive criticism as a helpful tool. Believe me, it's tough to do something you feel is perfect, and someone suggests a way to improve but that's how you get better!
4. Do not feed the troll. A lot of comments are made in an effort to gain a reaction from you. Do not give the person the satisfaction because eventually they will get bored and move on.
5. Block the negative out. It's cool when haters are your fans, but we're just not interested. Right? Right. :encouragement:

Lastly, remember that you can't change everyone. It's not worth the energy because....

Stay strong readers!
'till next time

Welcome to another blog from your favorite (I hope! :p ) community guy!

I wanted to blog about prizing this week.
The Community peeps and I often get together and try to figure out how we can reward players. Believe it or not, giving too much has a negative impact too!

+ If your prize is too large, it takes focus away from the event and becomes all about the prize!
+ If you offer too little, your event has to be really really good, and even then the body count can be pretty small.

Fellow readers, what kind of events and prizes would you like to see? Should there be greater focus on the activity itself?

On a slightly different note ♪

I wanted to share the 'prototype' badge for BootCamp event we hosted on Star Legends.
Reward for participating in BootCamp is unique unlike anything we've ever done before. It's an exclusive badge to wear on the forums special to each participant.
Pic below isn't the final version, and subject to change!

Thanks for checking out yet another week of my blog.
See you in the next one!

What is it about wanting something so much that you can't have... yet...
As our devs continue to cook up Arcane Legends, each day leaves me wanting the game more! This takes me back to the Dark Legends pre-launch hype.

What a week that was and the trailer ruled!

I recently started thinking about the new Ambassador program for AL and how exciting it'll be to run with another new group of players. :D
With much excitement, I poked around and found this picture to share with exclusively to my readers!

Who can guess what it is? ;)

I should be able to share more details on the new Ambassador program as STS shares more information about AL. Stay tuned for that!
And as always, thanks for reading and see you in the next blog!

Airrie here, and it's my first blog! I wanted to kick it off by sharing a bit about what I do.
Just so everyone knows, as Community Manager I work alongside with Spacetime and my work IS all that it's rumored to be.
VIP access, royal red carpet treatment and I even have a personal chef! Alright... one or all of the things above may or may not be true :D

I'm often asked if I love what I do, and what does it take to do what I do.
The answer is without a doubt, YES. It takes a lot of patience but it's also really rewarding thanks greatly to you all for being such a cool bunch. ;)

Picture below is my desk and a viking hat someone left behind D:

A typical day consists of logging on the forums and reading through a bunch of FanMailŽ
I like to think of PM's as fan mail :encouragement: I love receiving PM's regardless of what it's about!
Once I'm through reading my PM's I have an agenda for what I need to accomplish for the day. Lastly, if there's time I login to any one of the 3 games and spend a little time with you guys!

I didn't mention fighting crime since it's pretty obvious I also do that. :livid:
If you all have any questions, or topic ideas feel free to comment below and I might answer it or use it for my next blog ;)

Thanks for reading! 'till next time. . .
