I would like to summarize it for you if you guys can't watch the 20 minute speech.
So, online gaming, you usually have to save the world, and this is what this person is trying to do, but in the real world. What would happen if we had an oil shortage? Well, instead of whining people saying that they are "no good at life", gaming can switch this situation around. If you see an average gamer, he/she would probably look like this: Excited. The four things gamers are good at?

• Optimism-An Epic win is always possible
• Blissful Productivity-Happier working hard, than relaxing and hanging out
• Social Fabric-Takes lots of trust to play a game with someone, that they'll use the same rules, have the same goal, stay till the game is over.
• Epic Wins/meaning-Planet-saving missions, attach players

Gamers are Super-Empowered Hopeful Individuals, who believe they can change the virtual world, not the real world. If you take the skills they have from the virtual world into our world, I too, believe we can make it a better place.
