Gonna keep this post a bit short.
I don't usually blog much about my PL life, but I decided to do something today since I was bored.

So I log onto PL, finish some free Plat offers, and I manage to find a Vyx Forbidden Crypt helm from CS for 75k.
Now I was about to relist it for a higher price and earn some profit, but then I remembered that I still needed to unlock "Vyxnaar Vengeance" on my Achievements list.
And in order to unlock it, I needed to equip it.

So I'm sort of confused a bit when it won't let me equip it.
I'm level 71. 71>25, so I should be able to equip it...Hao 2 equip dis halm?

And then I see the stat requirements...72 Base STR.

Oh great.
I'm a pure INT mage, I have 1 STR point.

Now this is a bit tricky, folks, but it ain't rocket science.
I had some extra Plat lying around from doing those W3i offers, so I thought, okay, lemme just spec some STR and then re-spec back to INT!

But then I was wondering, how much STR? I could do 72...NAHHHH.

So being the hardcore and stupid me, I decide to go and make the first ever....PURE STR MAGE!
Yay.

And when I finish spec'ing to STR, I see a ring.
Yes, a ring.
It has better stats than my current one, since it has the word "Fine" before it.
So I go and buy it. +1 M/s.
Yay!

So I get the achievement, and then I'm ready to spec back.
Except I only had 12 Plat.
I used 2 for the spec...and... I used 10 for the ring.

So I spent the next 5 minutes thinking about how stupid I was to buy a ring...
So I'm stuck at pure STR, and I think...DTF must have fun going God Mode in PvP and tanking like craz-eeeee.
I shall try STR and go beat up some bears!

I go buy some purple level 70 STR stuff from the CS and jump into PvP.
Now I'm not trying to be offensive to any other pure STR mages out there, but HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO PVP WITH 66% HIT RATE???????????

I'm serious. Of course I had 53 Dodge, but in a whole 10 minutes of CTF, I got ZERO kills.
I missed half the skills I used.
And the thing about PvPing a bear?
66% Hit against 80+ Dodge? No ty.

Anyways, I managed to also get 20 deaths...
I guess 53 Dodge just isn't enough, and with that crappy 20 M/s regen, popping on Mana Shield with that much dodge in front of a bird.... is like exploding a mana-sucking grenade right in front of your face.

So no more PvP for me.
I went and asked Subs to come and watch me tank in PvE.
So we made a Capture the Keeper!
I did manage to tank mobs...but they WERE 30 levels below me, so I guess that doesn't really count.

First tanking attempt in Lost Villas, did not go well.
Got 3 Yetis onto me thanks to some randoms and then forced me to pull a Mana Shield, which killed me. See earlier paragraph for explanation.

So then a friendly bird came along and told me, "Stay here I'll go get my pally"
And I stood there for 10 minutes.
I guess he disconnected?

Finally I went and got 2 Plat to re-spec.

Who could have known such a small task would lead to a huge problem...

And I guess Pally wasn't the right word for my build....heh.
