Spacetime Studios was recently in the news, leading off an article about how the Gaming Industry is doing in Austin, TX. Here's a clip:

In 2010, Spacetime Studios consisted of six video game industry veterans about to launch their first game on the iPad and iPhone.

Two years later, the company has released three games, moved into 12,000 square feet of office space and will grow to 50 to 60 employees this year.

"We've been really lucky," CEO Gary Gattis said. "Hard work pays off, but it's a mixture of scrappiness and luck."

New Dark Legends King-of-the-Ring PvP Deathmatch

We have recently added a new Player vs. Player game map, Team Deathmatch. We call this "King of the Ring" because at times during play, the center raised dais area will allow the first team member who survives in that area for a long amount of time to be crowed the King! Being crowed bestows a fresh flood of blood and a buff. Controlling the dais and keeping your team member(s) crowned can sway the tide of battle in your favor!
