So long everyone. I have decided pl is taking my time away from my wife and kids. They come first. I have decicded to quit untill pl gets. New elite quet/ cap raise. This maybe 1 week or maybe 3 months.

When it does come out I will play lighter than I used to, one hour a day mostly. I Gave away my possessions so when I come back ill be sporten the angel set :)

To many friends to name so I will just put few who have helped me over my ok time.

Hello everyone,

This is transdal. You all might know me in PL. But this thread is just as the title says. I'm quitting PL until it gets more interesting. I just lost interest when Blacksmoke mountain came out. I also lost interest when AL came out. But this thread is not saying that I am quitting forever. I'm just merely quitting for right now for loss of interest. And FYI everyone Transdal is my level 73 dex/str Mage. And no I am not giving any of my items away. In jeeping them if I get interested in it again.

Goodbye PL thanks for being my first ever STS game!! I hope I can come back to you soon.

Ladies and Gentleman, i am afraid to say it but i am quitting the game. Yes this game has been an amazing experience i have shared with friends. Adventuring around the world of Arlor has been a treat. I am here to thank all those people that have ventured with me and have invited me to numerous guilds, it has been extremely fun. This is probably the only mmorpg i have played that i have used the forums and i have made excellent friends here! If you need to contact me just PM me on forums and i will pop in now and then.

Many people have been PMing me in game asking why so here it is.

1. I hate leveling on MMORPG's and on Arcane Legends i find it extremely difficult.
2. I have made so many accounts it confusing me and i keep deleting/remaking.
3. My gold has dissapeared from my account (300k)
4. I want to see what life is like without spending all my time on a game :p

Lalarie was my first Best Friend in-game and He helped me grow stronger since the 16 cap.And Later on,his other Best Friend,Bekoua,Became my next Best Friend.We became a Trio and started our own guild.Arcane Pirates Yarr.
Im leaving because,
First,The Trio isnt much of a Trio anymore.
Second,I got banned friom the forums
Third,AL has gotten harder since Kraken Isles.Hard to get Money,Hard to be a good player,And Lastly Hard to get good Gear.

My SL Story

The first time I ever found out about STS was when I tried Pocket Legends in early 2012. I didn't really like the game, so I deleted it after leveling for a bit. Later on I found out about Star Legends, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I couldn't think of a good name for my commando, and after typing numerous names into the character creation box hoping against hope that I would get a good one, I decided I would just use one that the game gave me. So I became Anegriv. Instantly I was hooked. I showed my brother the game, and together we leveled to endgame. Well, he got bored of grinding at level 38, but I persevered on to level 40. I remember using the Tapjoy offer that gave 1 platinum every few hours to buy the blue plat L40 commando set. When I finally reached 40, I was so happy that I could finally use my awesome gear. Previously I had tried to PvP, but every single time I tried to use the terminal in Blackstar, it told me that my character did not meet the level requirements. When I finally got to go PvP, I didn't understand why everyone was just sitting around talking. So I ran into the Reckoning Room, and started shooting and blasting skills at people. I died pretty fast. Thankfully the people in that room were nice enough to teach me the "rules." I learned fairly fast. I remember fighting operatives, and they frustrated me so much (especially Darkkilladeath (Spin), and Laflare). At some point I started looking for a guild. Previously I had been an officer in a guild called Cammando Kittens. I think I was in it just for the T3 guild hall, lol. I saw Sparxtans, and they looked pretty cool (plus they were #1 on the LB ;)). I met some of the coolest people ever, like Pianowizzy and TheShadowXXX. I had no motivation to cap, however, because the commando Arbiter plate was so ugly lol. So I started my operative, Adidastripe, after a guy ingame called Nikecheck. I eventually capped. I was pretty happy, my Arbiter chest plate looked so cool with my Symbiotic set.

At some point I took a break from the game. When I came back, Sparxtans was disbanded. I was pretty upset. I eventually joined Rampage. At some point after many months the Scorn Crusade cap finally came. I capped Adidastripe again. During the that cap I got pretty good at PvP, or maybe I just think so O_o. After all most of the old pros had all ready quit, including Piano and Shad.

Many months later, the 51 cap came. I had been waiting for it for so long. I'm not going to lie, it sucked. We got 3 insanely hard remade maps with a terrible XP rate, and no cap reward. At this point, I don't have much motivation to play. I understand that STS is a business, and that they need to bring in money, but to me it's just kind of sad how they neglect all their other games now, even PL. At this point, I'm not officially quitting; I'll be ingame some, but I'm not going to be very active.

I have thought this out over the last few weeks as I see it becoming a huge problem. I am leaving forums because of these issues and I wanted to put them out there as constructively as possible.

I am not going to point fingers, I am not going to play the blame game, I just want you to read this then move on.

Lately I have noticed a rise in the trollish behavior towards new and old players, I am noticing a click in the forums, If you aren't in this click you aren't appreciated and sometimes you are flamed in almost everything you post.

It is disturbing that even some of the old players I used to have respect for have adapted this attitude towards newer players on the forums and those that don't act like adults sometimes because they (in RL) are still kids, is that any reason to be rude to them?

This is not the community I joined, nor is it one I want to see a month from now, I am truly disappointed in some of you, and I am asking you observe yourselves and ask the question "Was that post/thread really necessary to post? did I hurt someones feelings with that?"

I think sometimes we forget we are talking to actual people with actual feelings, and yes we could possibly be hurting them. I have felt that the community spirit has left the forums and its a drag to see what new argument has dispersed on what thread.

This is not a condemning letter, this is a plea. I joined these forums because you guys were awesome and it was fun to engage. That welcome has disappeared and I want it back.

Here is my Challenge: Be kinder, respect others and be constructive. If someone is annoying you then let them win, and forget the ego's. In the end nobody will care who had a better rep bar.

Well, as you can probably tell due to the section I posted this in, I'm going to be leaving for a little while. Some unexpected real life issue things came up and I will have to put most of my time into those, and also the lack of interesting threads and updates leads me to expecting that this is a good time to take a break from all the helping, editing, farming, guild managing, forum watching, spying, buying, selling, and community.

I will be uploading two more videos before the month or so long break. One strangely matching the title I will get for posting one more time after this (completely un-called for) and another short, basic video that wont really have much to it. I WILL NOT be doing an item giveaway since I will be returning, but my Swift set will be selling for 3 mil if anyone is interested.

Leaving is a symbol of sadness in stories and usually are best given with something to remember them by, so I have gotten a quote from an anonymous source that I want everyone here to think about and hopefully (virtually too) live up to.

Hi! Guys! Officially today, I am quitting. I'm not going back to the world of Arlor again. This is actually my 3rd time I've announced that'll quit but this time it is final. hai so as most of you know the new cap for SL came and im not impressed by it..
so as many other players have done i guess its my turn to end it.. tried to get the most out of the cap but its just not working for me.. so this is the end? possibly maybe for a while or just in total need to get my life together.

I'm sorry, but this has gone too far. my mage is now so easily pwned in pvp that i'm not even going to try it. and don't even get me started about pve. I'm moving on to rogue for a while. Sorry STS but you've not given mages enough reason to play the game. i will return to my mage, so this is not the end. but the next expansion has to make sorcs better...
