Add a npc through which people can lend gear to others for a period of time 1 day / 3 days / 5 days / 7 days. Each item being lent automatically gets tagged with the a heart (marked favorite)...

Don’t worry, once STS makes them lootable like they did with Ebon weapons, price will dramatically drop from 100m+ to your average 20-40m. Just got to play the waiting game.
