That's because you were comparing mythic set before upgrades (helm level 26 and armor level 31) while other people are talking about upgraded mythic set (helm and armor level 36).

Go for mythic...

This is what I think:
- This will mean more crates to be unlocked.
- More unlocked crates means more opened crates.
- More opened crates means more mythics and arcanes to be looted.
- More...

It's 500, not 225. And since inventory and character slots can be bought with story tokens, I don't think that would be much of an issue :)
