There's no greater significance to it. It's a reward for creating a nordr quest, and you have to obtain it before entering certain kraken maps as well. But it isn't actually used for anything itself

I look at it like this.... They won't know what's wrong if we don't tell them. I DO see people thanking them but its not terrible that so many complain because again; people poor thousands of dollars...
