Try using nilbog's aa right before you encounter the mages. Nilbog gives 5 seconds of immunity.

Yep, JustG already said it's not happening. If they're going to do it, leave exclusive vanities out. There's simply no reason for this except to satisfy people who want everything handed to them...

Exactly, there's no real reason to have this in game and I hope STG leaves these untouched. I don't have those 50M+ vanities, but it ruins the uniqueness of them when they become so common. They do...
