What is the best arcane pet for mage?

August obviously

nekro..always nekro

Nekro, MM, or SnS.

But if you can just get one, get Nekro.

Nekro.nekro is good is for all classes. my sec choice is toor. good for pvp or pve:angel:

I prefer guapo with the nekro arcane ability and munch mouths happiness bonus.

Depending on the situation SnS can be better. But overall nekro is more useful / necessary.

For a *cheap* Arcane pet, I'd honestly say Maridos. If you can afford Nekro ofc go with that but Maridos is a great stat booster/survivability pet and gives a great bonus to the party.

SnS pretty useless for Elite Underhul (last 2 maps). The sure bet is still Nekro.
