I see a lot of advice on upper level skill point distribution, but not much on how to build to it.
I'm all int. Have maxed on heal, lightning, and drain life. (lvl 20) do I start maxing out weakness or nightmare or Mag shield? or do i wait for BOV?

I have tried several builds when i was on the road to 50. If I was you, I would max out group damage, healing, and put 1 into revive. Don't put anything into frostbite and drain life. They are lesser spells that wont really become effective until higher levels. I recomend putting points into buffs before debuffs. Buffs last a heck of a lot longer then debuffs. Debuffs will need to be maxed once you hit higher levels though.
Once you get to lvl 50: here is my personal lvl 50 build.
125 int 129 str.
