Expanding control possibilities

There's an iPhone and iPad game called Chopper 2. In this game you control a chopper using touchscreen and/or tilting. There's a functionality in this game which allows you to control the chopper using your iPhone as a controller via bluetooth.

When you play in this setup the iPhone only shows places for your thumb, like a virtual joystick. You can also use the tilting for control. The rest of the game is shown on you iPad, standing in front of you. Basicly it looks like a console.

So I was wondering if this technique would be useful for PL. Imagine connecting your iPad 2 to your HD television and playing PL on the couch with your iPhone (3GS and up). I know, it's niche, but it would move PL (and SL:B*) to even greater heights.

Nice idea but there are a lot of android users. What do you do with them. I wont buy an iPhone or ipad just to play a game. STS is committed to all its players. Future technologies should be for all not just a few.
