To the players who can't get enough of PvP!

You know when you're just hanging with friends in the towne? Sometimes you just want to pvp with lots of people, but the pvp games can't hold then all?

What if players had the ability to duel? It's kind of like the same concept as "go" in pvp for when players 1 vs. 1. Instead however, a player would simply click on the avatar he/she wishes to fight, press the "duel" button on their avatar screen. The player will have a notification somewhere on their screen and press "accept" or decline". If the player accepts, the chatbox on your screen will say, "The match will begin in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...". Then the players can fight.

Players can also have the ability to ignore players from duels so they don't get spammed with notifications. Players mana and health would be regenerated instantly after the fight, and the kills or deaths would not go towards your pvp stats!

Also, in the chat box it would say: "(players name) defeated (players name) in a duel!"

How sweet would it be if you could fight in towns. Kills/deaths wouldnt count though. I think it would be funny killing the dude spamming, "SELLING SUPER STRONG SWORDS!" or just nuking the entire town.

I think this have been offered as idea multiple times before....lets see....25ppl all dueling imagine how laggg it will get!)))

Haha that'd be hilarious. Idk I thought this idea seemed neat... but it's completely stolen from order and chaos

This idea is pretty common and exists on lots of other MMOs

It would be cool to be implemented in STS game though

Yeah it would probably get really laggy at times when multiple people are dueling.

Maybe when the person offered to duel hit accept, then the game auto-hosts a 1v1 Desert Dual place and puts them both in it?

Did wow come up with the dueling concept? And taking an idea from a game and implementing it to another happens all the time. Whatever makes the game better! :)

Another issue would be the level differences :) the simple sollution would be implementing the 5 lower 5 higher concept from regular Pvp but would be really interesting to c like noob 63 vs pro 53 idk and also expansions to the Townes adding special places to watch people duel which kind of ruins the quick and easy feeling but will eliminate the problems with too many people in a towns dueling since these special area's can have only one duel at a time

PVP ate me. I CANNOT stop playing it. This would be a great idea however i have one question. How will the players arrive at the battlefield from the town? Does it automatically teleport them there? Or do you have to host the game first?

I would love it, pharcyde would hate it.

Or something such as each player would have all the skills and same power and the sets would just be a "Vanity" however if you have a bow you'll get a standard bow... Or cross bow same with wand!

In all honesty, I think it would be really neat if the players can duel in towne. I'm not very techy, so I don't know if this would take up space, create lag, etc, but STS could do it.

Very true. However, I think they are caught up in all their work. The production of DL has got them in a bit of a rut, and the other two games are sort of easy-sailing until it's released.

I'm sure though, that they won't abandon PL. It IS the game that started it all after all, so great content is coming.

PVP has always been a sort of an abandoned topic, and STS always says they will come back to it. I hope they take some of these ideas into action though, because some of them are VERY clever.

Moth it's not event that. Even in the time periods, like being in the middle of alien oasis campaign, I remember the devs didn't even take into account pvp because they focused on things that I may never know.

But they work very hard, so I'm not really the one to say this. Soon they'll focus on the PvP aspect, but I doubt it won't be for a long time.
