dragon staff proc bug

when enemy (for example pve boss) getting dragon staff DoT - that proc making boss to damage himself (it doesnt count that player-mage damaging boss, it counts as boss damaging itself); u can easily check it - u dont see numbers of damage which u deal by dragon staff because it is not YOUR damage

means if u mage and have balanced + dragon staffs, u can apply curse from balanced staff to boss, then u equip dragon staff fast and try to apply proc to boss, if success - boss will recieve:
1) DoT from dragon staff proc
2) damage from all his attacks (because it cursed by balanced staff)
and (!!!) 3) damage by curse from balanced staff even if boss doesnt attack anybody (because boss attacking himself by that drag staff DoT)

if boss enough fat (main bosses in maus, vori, lich, bosses in deep marsh, infested swamp) it deals really tons of damage (more than rogue with average stats), because both staffs deal damage based on target's max hp

recently i saw a lot of threads by cheap mages about "balance" between classes (when they dont even know simple things about their own class)
ofc their "balance" usually compared to rogue class (and here is real situation when cheap mage kills hardest bosses faster than average rogue as single-target dps, even in normal location as festerfang swamp)
this fix will make some real balance between rogue and mage, isnt it?
enjoy with ur outdated staffs in endgame. i hope immo and hex staffs will be next, and mages finally will understand something more than spamming regular attacks and collecting gold for their HARD work

maybe u dont remember about hydra and what happened because of mages? lol

i just dont want that my main class get nerfed and dont want loose more places to farm (like happened with hydra) only because of cheap (spoiled by maus) mages

and about u: maybe u remember how mages was needed in all maps before maus because of their ability to control mobs? what we see now? most of mages lost their skill and gone to cheapness of their class (because of some staffs), what we can see in ANY guide or advices about mage? "just buy hex staff+drag staff go maus/esg spam attacks and save for more % gold loot or immo staff instead of hex", this is how u see future of ur class? i'm sorry then lol

I didn't agree, I'm a Mage.
Hydra map should never have been designed that way in the first place. That was the problem there.

can tell u same thing about DS, it was designed that wrong way in the first place, same as flame/balanced/immo staffs

hydra was for farming gold by rogues, same as maus always to farm gold by mages/warriors, i didnt see problems there, when there was only maus - i've created mage and was farming it, when hydra - gone to rogue... as result - most of players lost good place to farm, not only rogues
(and if u was rogue - u would never tell anything against about that hydra)

I think its an asumption that hydra was made for rogues personally unless you can show a dev saying that.
I did make a rogue just to farm there.

also maybe a laguage barrier, but I litterally did not agree by not defending it, nor did I feel the need to repeat others like Fid who was doing well.

If I didnt adress some of the things you asked me, its because I dont disagree with you generally. Dont mistake me for what im not lol

anyway I only got in this thread to make the point there doesnt seem to be a nerf rogue suggestion by most players (mages included)
