Boss Mechanics

Hello Arlorians,
I am not sure if there is any guide or sticky already present. If it does, please redirect me to it as I have been looking for something like that. Otherwise I noticed something over the years of playing AL that there is no comprehensive guide or any established notes of boss mechanics.

While I understand that when new bosses are released, it makes sense for the community to try and find the boss mechanics and develop strategies around it , but when the bosses are considerably older(maybe 6months+) can the mechanics be published by STS ? For example, under new expansion, I see the new Kraken boss mechanics mentioned at least for the moment. I can understand during the actual expansion it might be not be the same.

I was looking for the boss mechanics for Jordr Skratch Boss(the one in Greensap farm) and I found nothing. I am trying to get my 1k Boss aps there and its frustrating to just die left and right so much to the point that I renamed myself "Gawsh" :( . If the mechanics are published, I am sure it's going to help entire AL playerbase.

Like I mentioned, I can understand if for the new bosses the mechanics shouldn't be published but at least if that can be published after a considerable amount of time has passed, it would really help.

I don’t think there is a guide on Jord, but he only has two major moves

Red ring: only have to stay off red zone but he will also move & the ring will move w him, you have like a second to react before it pulses n does damage

Ball lightning: by far the most damaging, he gives no warning- if u are close u could get hit b4 u even have a chance to see it. Around 8 of them radiate outwards except one will split into two & go in 2 new directions. You can get caught thinking you’ve seen it coming n dodged until one splits n catches you.
Stupid auras can make seeing the pale white small ball lightning impossible

Last thought, those moles punch like Tyson, it’s better if all materials are collected b4 the boss but if not it’s good to clear all materials from the top of the map at least. That way a random mole won’t kill u during the fight. Using any skill that clears the bleed effect that the moles cause is a big help

about greensap, not sure 100% but I'll try to explain what i have expierenced there at boss:
Boss rotating 2-3 abilities
1) 6 electro spheres - if anybody catch it, it damages a bit and split to 2 more, those 2 deals more damage...
2) big red zone(s), when i solo and dont move and boss doesnt move too (i just spamming bow/gun attacks and ranged skills) - those red zones NEVER damage me, when i'm with other players and they run a lot - red zone damages a lot, so i can tell its like while red zone - boss moving and charging it for more damage (while somebody inside red zone moving too)

If you are mage/rogue and have warrior in your room - just give ultimate (aimed shot/energize) and stay outside of all his red zones, warrior will kill boss without problems :) sts gave everything to warrior now: dps/hp/dmg reduce/a lot dmg buffs. Other classes leeching now, let warriors enjoy their dominance

Also I'm sure there some bug about damage by spheres but who cares lmao, warriors can survive with 6x str - means everyone else can survive too (it their opinion). Sts prefer to create new trash content like new expansion instead fixing previous bugs and make game great and perfect again

Thanks both of you. I was told to avoid the spheres. But I noticed something, I am way out in the far and the boss discharges sphere and I just randomly die like my character had a heart attack lol. I am assuming some of it might be latency. But I am going to take a look into what you both mentioned about red zones and sphere splitting into two.

Thanks again, but this is exactly what I was hoping for . Like a standard boss mechanics guide. Most games these days have a boss mechanics guide inside the game itself about what kind of attacks the bosses would do and when. I was hoping maybe STS consider that. Just a static bunch of text .

I read somewhere about jord , that if the spheres touch you , don't attack the boss just run or stay don't hit boss , if anybody hits the boss , the ones who touched the spheres will die

hmm.. maybe but how to don't hit it? :D procs of gun/bow are DoTs, noxious bolt is DoT too, clock/ice bolt/fireball are DoTs too, all of them (except fireball) usually lasts more than boss rotate his 2-3 abilities and those DoT can't be stopped when you want...
