because you cant bring the shield down like you do with the overlord. only time brings down the keepers shield
He's correct. Blast Shot does not eliminate the Keeper's shield. Best to just bulk debuff himQuote:

I thought the shield came on about a minute into the fight. Usually, you try to get the hit points more than 2/3 down before he puts up the shield. If not, leave to reset or it will take a long time.
Just a tip if you haven't done or noticed yet, try to go in as a team! If you have a decent team, that know their roles, its possible to kill before shield ever goes up (and I'm talking all 50's when that was cap)! The timer starts as soon as someone is in his range! Other than that ur queston has been answered!!

For the foolish and desperate, you should be unloading everything on him from the beginning anyways. And by timer starting, it's not when he "demonstrates"; it's when he triggers, as in he will start moving towards whoever triggered him, preferably a bear or pally. At that point, everyone should be firing everything they have at him. He should be dead or almost completely dead before shield. He can be hit through shield but damage is much much less.
If everyone in the team uses a Keeper Staff, he gets embarrassed that his weapon isn't rare anymore, so he just gives up and gives you the loot. True story!

I have the whole set but...
Killed before shield went up today with me tanking (49 bear) and 2 birds lvl 51 and 52 and one random Mage who joined us. Easy peasy :-)
