Dead hardcore characters can temporarily stay on the leaderboard simply by logging in. Its not a big deal right now but it will be when they log in just before end of season rewards are granted.

Agree, when they log in few people get pushed off of the HC Leaderboard thats unfair people work hard to be in the Leaderboard

This should be fixed with the next update - It would not have affected the leaderboard rewards though, it's only a problem with the cached display data.
