Pet peeve of the week

Someone who joins your team, and when you explain to them that you plan to pot up and kill the overlord, and they say yes or ok and then when everyone is potted up, they don't, then they die (because it always seems to be a mage) and the team is down to four for nothing. Or the worst is no response at all, and after we all pot up the same thing happens. So, after wasting some tank pots for nothing, now we've learned that if someone does not communicate (when related to strategy, etc), we wait until they pot up first or we boot them if they don't. Oh and they get immediately removed from friends list.

Does anyone else encounter these irritating people?

Ive done this before once after seeing how the group played though the dungeon . "I knew we where gonna wipe regardless"

Don't friend them until after the game :) it will show how they act or play first.

But yes I don't like it either...

I just have some people on my friends list who I haven't played with yet. I've weeded out a lot of bad ones after playing with them. I am still working on whittling down my list to only reliable friends.

And we used to do test runs with plothox and Gurg to see how the whole team is before doing any bigger bosses. It does get tiring, though, when you keep having to restart because of a weak link that you feel bad booting after playing part of the map with. And Plothozz isn't even worth doing anymore now that his drops are worth so little. So we've been starting with the bigger bosses right away, and these kinds of people just ruin everything.

they should make a "epic" friends list for your better known friends, and a list for people to spam invites to so you can get your victory lap game full >:0

I agree! A "best friends" list would be great!

I don't know about the Keeper, but I've potted my Mage up for other bosses and got two-shot. A minor improvement over getting one-shot, but still. (And no, I'm not counting the Big Burp o' Hades.) Potting up for a Mage is no guarantee of survivability. Especially with enough points in Dex to give me 136% chance to hit and I still only have a Dodge of.......6.

My bear has had to solo him one of those times, and I was able to kill him alone by downing health pots. We only all died one of the two times.

But that's not the point. People should communicate if they don't agree with your plan.

What if he is russian and cant understand english?

Then he should make that clear somehow and not play with a group that he can't communicate with.

Communication is crucial in some parts of this game.

its a mobile game not rocket science communication isn't a necessity

Ok so you play with a group from Babel, play in silence and let me know how it goes. But I'm going to continue playing with people who communicate.
