Mythic Armor and Weapons

Hello,

I have a question about Mythic items, the ones selling for millions in the auction.
In the guides I see that the armor can be leveled.. but where do you get it in the first place?

Does it drop, or in locked or earned in Quest?

I have all legendary gear on my lvl 36 mage, but I can't get near the damage and health I have seen in some players with Mythic Armor.

You can get mythic helm on elite golden pirate chest and armor on elite golden warchest. You can get both on Crate too.
