Health or Armor first? (PVP)

Helo guys, i need help to choose this for PVP, Health or Armor first? Example: A. Health 6700 Armor 1800 or B. Health 6800 Armor 1700 Just example, please help. Ty. *Warrior

Put it this way:

100 armor > 100 health

Well I'm going to make a new guide about tanking.
In short, Health is the overall health. Suppose you have 1000 health and 100 armour and you get 200dmg on aimed shot(suppose). And if you increase armour, Suppose: 800 Health and 200 armour. You will get 100 less damage from aimshot. That means you will get 100 dmg per aimed shot. So armour is first preference. Armour decrease the overall damage inflicted by opponent on you. So , Armour>Health.

That only occurs if armor works at 100%. A dev posted somewhere, but I can recall that it mentions that the majority of the time, armor will reduce dmg based on how much is taken into account.

So in short: Have 1800+ armor does not mean exactly 1800+ will be used.

Hmm It can be taken into consideration. Like, sheild of mage depends on the Str and Int. I think armour depends upon Str too. More you have, the more you will be able to use it.

Unfortunately, you're wrong.

Without health, armor is useless.

Armor is nonlinear and plateaus at several point as well as spikes in damage reduction per unit. Honestly, the best way to test your survive ability is let the mobs in elite harbor (or whichever location you choose. You should be able to last 10seconds with your gear wherever you choose so any difference is notable) wail on you with the two different spec. I tape it with a second device and crop the video so it starts at when I first take damage and when I hit 20% (+/-3%) to find the exact time. Do this 10-20 time per spec and find the mean survival time and then compare.

If the specs seem identically effective, go with whichever offers more DPS/Damage.

Most high armor items have plenty of HP.

Yes, there is a coeficient which change in each lvl, so higher lvl you are you need more armor for the same dmg reduction. But exact value of the coeficient haven´t been publicated

Its nonlinear. My methodology is to simply test builds. To find the exact formula is too difficult since game designers can add secondary factors to diminish (or even increase) the efficiency at or above certain points.

Any idea how this constant was derived, or what it is at the level 41 cap?

As it stands, this equation is only interesting. I am not sure how to derive damage reduction precisely since it can only be relative to previous sets of gear and that limits me to knowing 1 of three variable. Therefore I cannot evaluate different sets of gear at the current cap.

PS: Kali already proved armorasove was faulty, this data may not account for those findings.

HP? u have heal skills and pet :D

If armor is better then health then magma armors are far better then mythics...
But still I think mythics are far better then magmas....

A laval 41 magma will gives you 200 more armor..
But still...
Mythoc armor gives 200 more health...
So which is good
