It's your own fault. The system right now is gifting not trading. If want safe secure trading just wait a week or so, it'll be here soon.
Before you "trade"/give something to someone, it tells you that you should only trade with people you know you can trust. Yes, sometimes you get unlucky, but it gives you a warning right in front of you.
