I will have to say since 12/15/15 to 12/30/15 energy was pretty good dropping but since 1/1/16 energy essences decreased.:/ why this happen?

I do experience the low essence drop rate sometimes but thats never related to drop rate, its just my luck, sometimes i loot only essences(6-7) in a run & sometimes only ice dragon scales in whole run with just one energy essence.
As u have mentioned that u experienced good drop rate from 15/12/2015 - 30/12/2015, i guess ur luck got decreased as its 2016:p
After 2 weeks of this memorable event when everybody was busy farming tooth/fangs and get into a PvP drama, I finally understood the drop rate of energy essences. Like ice scales, energy essence is epic rarity. The drop rate wasnt reduced, but the epic rarity of the essence splited the dropability of these 2 .
The droprate of essence got increased for a short time untill last hot fix then it got lowered again.
