Idea: Some way to get your pet re-egged

So I know this has been a request for a while now or at least a shared stable has been the hot topic but what about having some way to pay plat to get your pet converted into a NON-tradable egg so you can just move it to another character on your account. So many new players may start a character and as time and the game evolves they realize they love playing a different character and wish that arcane or just rare pet could be moved to the new character.
I realize not allowing a shared stable is common sense as it would take a lot of revenue away from STS in general but give us an option to at least pay you to get a pet from one character to another without having to open a million crates or wait a year for the next event the pet is obtainable through. What does everyone else think?

+1. Grwat idea. Even for f2p players, there could be something equivalent to the tradeable respec scroll (bought with plat of course) that can be purchased in the auction house.

Could've been nice. In addition to that I can add that you can be able to reegg the pet only ONCE for account. For example "randomign" have Maridos. "Random ign want to move maridos to "ignrandom". But after its done this maridos is never going to be able to get transfered.

The thing driving the egg market is the people creating new characters. If people were able to share or transfer pets, it eliminates the demand to buy any more. Egg demand will go down and the supply will eventually build up to the point where the economy will inevitably crash. All the eggs will practically become worthless.

Btw shard stable that we mean was using other egg to open the pet in other character and no need to lvled it to such lvl since other character has done it, so it wont take the sts income :')

If the cost in plat is high enough, say 100 plat, there will be no effect on egg prices at all. There wouldnt be all that many of these transactions happening anyway, since a lot of pets can be purchased at reasonable prices in auction. It would just be the more rare or very expensive eggs that would be re-egged and maybe only one or two since cost would be high.

By experience, StS often think about how the game is meant to be played. Once that objective is set, they do updates and allow players to do things or not.

Samhayne is an old developer from StS. I am pretty sure he worked on AL development and probably the one who brought the egg/stable system idea. Apparently, he is working on Pokemon Go.

The pets in AL are meant to be collected. You, as an arlorian, have to find them all. That's how the game is meant to be played,. It's similar to pokemon where you have to find all pokemons, level them up and use them in combat. If StS is re-egging, it's only because you accidentally opened an egg (because we all know how things happen). In order to re-egg, you must send a ticket to supports and they will investigate on the problem and decide to re-egg or not. They also de-level if you accidentally level up (and the pet) in a campain map because you're a twink.

Now, you want StS to make a feature for all players to be able to re-egg a pet by paying platinums (or some other credit) so he can move a non-tradeable egg throught stash just because few players need to do that. The market is crashing. Need an arcane pet? They are almost free on auction compared to what they were 2-3 years ago. Think about the possibility of bugs, like people could re-egg into a tradeable egg, or open a leveled up egg or whatever bug that could happen.

The system is great as it is. Stash is a way to safely share items between your characters without having to make different emails and accounts. Somehow, it's also a way to ban all your characters together if you break rules, but characters are on their own. Characters have no link between them but stash. You can even add your characters between each other in your friend list. Each character has it's own APs, it's own story, and it's own stable. Let's keep it that way.

While I agree with a lot of what you said, its a little contradictory. So why is it ok to be able to move every type of equipment but not pets to your various characters? Is there really a difference between a weapon and a pet? Both come from popping crates after all.
I could say once you buy that arcane weapon it is bound to that char which is exactly what the situation is with pets. What makes pets so special and unique that there is no way to move them from one char to another?
Its like pets are so taboo. Everything should be movable between your chars except pets?! Your right though that pets are much more reasonably priced so this request is far less needed than it was a year and a half ago before rengol expansion.

You are allowed to have a stash because StS understands the fact that you might want to try different class and people cant double log in on the same device. In order to trade/give weapons to your other character, you must double log in (if there was no stash). Besides, multiple log in are bannable.

In order to help players throught that process, there is a feature called stash that allows players to trade/give items to other characters. :)

Its all about gold. If these were 500g eggs, these people wouldnt care. Equips you can pass multiple ways, so stash is just a convenience. If theres is give/trade, there is a way to pass items. Notice lots of new games limit item passing, so almost 100% of items is bound? I think pets are a goal for your character. Set a game goal and go achieve it, instead of immediately thinking of changing the rules of the game. (Sry if returns are not showing up. Forums acting up for some reason)
