Why is there no progression with new arcane warrior weapons

Hi STG team,

I know its early and we must give some time to test out new weapons especially the proc since that is important to determine weapon viability. However, I just feel compelled to point out that there appears to be purposeful nerf of the primary stats of warrior weapons from the new mythics to the new arcane weapons.

Few Examples:

1. The new arcane sword has less base damage than the old arcane sword.

2. The new arcane shield has less armor than the old aegis shield.

STG can you at least give us an explanation of why this was done? Was this an oversight or was this done on purpose? Also if done on purpose I don't think its a good direction. The old arcane sword and the aegis is only overpowering because of their proc but not because of their basic stats. STG if you want to nerf warriors then you need to focus on giving us a proc thats not as overpowering as the old weapons. Don't nerf the basic stats of the weapons.....that doesn't fix the real issue.

Its not always about stats , even legendary weapons have better stats but, Proc is what matters alot now..

I think this was in light of bringing balance to how OP lava sword is in PvP. Now, the strength of Mage and rogue weapons increased to be on par with lava sword.

While I agree with you. The new rogue and mage weapons have progression in basic stats compared to old arcane weapons. Warriors did not. For example new arc daggers are plus 100 damage base stats compared to old arcane daggers. While new warrior arcane sword has less base damage than old arcane sword? Just doesn't make sense in terms of weapon progresion.

Zeus I do get what you are saying. But it was the "old" OP procs that ruined pvp and somewhat pve. Why nerf our base stats though? Just come out with a weapon that doesn't have an "op" proc. Base stats should progress no?

Agreed, base stats should be an increase no matter what.
