Does Luck Elixir help in any way to find (forgot the name) the guy whp drops eggs?
No, but it could help you to re-roll a better egg once you find him.
I've been hunting for hours and never saw anyone rerolling an egg. I think luck is completely useless in this event.

Luck elix/lepre isnt necessary in this event.. I've been looting 3 mythic eggs and a Tyrannica Within 4hrs of farming without any luck elix and lepre.. So yeah its just based on your own luck(not the elix).
With/Without Lepre/Luck elix, You can still get Myths/Arcane Eggs. I'm not using luck but still got arcanes and myths ;)
