what I'm wondering is what happened to the android app shoot it? my phone has been rooted forever and I planned on getting that app at some point. but its gone :(. haven't found any good ones yet for taking screen shots.

Your rooted, so download a custom ROM. most, if not all, ROMS come with built in screenshot.
My rom has built in screenshotting capabilities im using HTC Evo 3D non rooted ;)

thanks for replies guys. ill look into the custom ROMS.... although they've never interested me.
Hm I use screenshot it on a root free phone.
Custom roms are a godsend.
