problems with dark legends files keep on downloading

I know that normally brower games, like runescape download files to a user's computer only once and then they do not need to download the files again unless they uninstall a program related to the game or if they cleared the cache on their internet brower. For chrome, I have done a clear cache yet and it seems that the files are still being download onto my computer. I notice it when my hard drive space is decreasing slowly by .2 every time I log in to the game on chrome. I am not sure if its a virus or I need to uninstall chrome and reinstall it and add dark legends to the app list on the program and see if that work. Is it suppose to do that or just once and it does not need to redownload again. You would think it downlaods and just loads the files from the user's computer and start up the game when the user starts the game and logs in.
