Was wondering why there the max amount of gold stashable and on our characters hasn't been increased from 999 million? It's extremely outdated and with current prices rare vanities go for 1bil+ making it extremely hard to get pure without the risk of being scammed or having to have vanities worth 1bil+ just to trade as collateral. This seems like an extremely easy fix and i am just not sure why the devs haven't updated it yet.
The same question is asked every now and then for the past 2+ years. Apparently they can't fix it (or it's a low priority issue).

Having gold capped at 1b killed my motivation to chase the more expensive items.
