A conundrum..
So, on my warrior (level 16), I have 600 defense, 2k HP, and 690 MP. My damage is low (at 70 with low quality vorpal). He is a pure tank.
I can swap out the ring and amulet I'm currently wearing and get an additional 23 damage, however, I would lose 100 defense and almost 200 MP. Also, if I upgrade my weapon to the best vorpal, I'd gain an additional 12 damage. That would put me at 105 damage, 500 defense, and 490 mp, and around 2300 hp.
I don't seem to have any trouble holding aggro on elite jarl or anything else, so do I really need to worry about getting my damage higher right now?
--and don't say "wait till the level cap raises". I'll still be in this situation after it does!
So, my question is.. which of these setups is better for a TANK.
2k hp, 690 mp, 600 defense, 70 dps
OR
2.3khp, 500 mp, 500 defense, 105 dps
Thanks in advance for any insight =)

well most imp is ur skill dmg. u should hav atleast 200%+ bonus dmg. more bonus dmg % greater healing of HoR skill nd greater skill dmg. base dmg should b 70+

So, I went ahead and did this (as well as a respec) and wow.. it was so worth it. Since I did it, I have held aggro on every boss 100% of the time no matter what classes I was with. I rarely have to use a single potion on elite jarl runs, unless there is no mage healing, and even then I only use 2 or 3. I don't even have the best armor/helm yet, so my defense will still get better!

After the patch we get 1hand+shield for warriors and other weapons for rogues/mages,plus active/passive skills. New content would be a variable too. All these might or might not factor in.
So resist the impulse to spend your money! :beguiled:

skyward smash (1,2)
chest splitter (1,4)
vengeful blood (1,2,3,4)
horn of renew (1,3,4)
I hit HoR when I go in (for taunt), and then vengeful, and as soon as I start spamming SS/CS, I always gain aggro. My base DPS is 90, so it jumps up to 105 after using vengeful, plus the taunt from HoR and SS/CS spam and constant critical from vorpal.. hard to lose aggro with all of that. I've done hundreds of jarl runs and I have literally held aggro 100% for each run, even with 200dps rogues. They may be holding back a bit since they know their DPS is super high.. not sure.. but I never lose aggro.
