This is what we do. I'll start out in an empty town.
When the beat drops, all the characters we can fit into the town shows up using whatever emote you please!

And how do you expect for everyone to know when it drops?
You don't need the sound while recording.
First record someone standing alone. Stop. Get everyone in the town. Record. Emote. And cut the excess film in between. Then put a song in video editor over the Audio in game.
It's just a thought. Lol.
Actually, it's quite easy. Go to you map then join game. Set the restrictions to town then look for the population of your liking :) I use this for videosQuote:
