Whats better for a 50 shadow mage, pure int, dex/int, pally, str/dex? Any pros have an idea?
I'd go 67 dex rest int and use the wand set but I'm not sure what other people would use

I think ive seen you in pvp tree. Im sevenfeetdeep. Ill try both see whats better, i wanted do death mage, but shadows gave me more armor+crit
Death is good, but a pure Mage will never let ya down :D
Go 115 dex for death shotgun set and rest int that's what I use for my 51
Go pure int with shadow set, i can get you my shadow mages build, i did fairly well. Here are the numbers -- 6,6,6,1,6,0,6,0,5,1,6,6
Honestly, Shotgun mages are much better. Shadow set is hard to be good with now. Shotgun sets allow you to be able to kill just about any sewers set, if you know how to kite. Shadow also needs to kite. The armor difference between the sets? basically nothing when faced with 300 autos. 400 HP goes down fast either way. I prefer having more damage. But yeah, like the people said, the best for a Shadow mage is pure int.Quote:
