The game has changed

Hey there. New account/char for an old (but not experienced) user.
Many things changed since 2014 when i stopped playing.

Now to questions:
1. Does the %crit , %dmg and armor passives now stack with pet bonuses?
2. I know that gale mastery will take debuffs off even at lv.1 no-charged use So doesnt that makes the mastery useless to lv up? (Lv 1 is enough?)
3. What are the best (cheap to buy) pets for a pure pve sorc nowadays?

Any feedback will be great to read.

1. Yes they does stack
2. More mastery points = longer immunity for debuffs and so on.
3. Cheap hmm
Look at pets that adds +30 primary stat or 20/25+ and some other things like mana health damage crit
Ewen : good cheap pet. Many may sell its useless but i really liked it for leveling alt.
Nilbog : 35/45k pet popular nowdays for masoleum and new maps.
Ethyl : maybe AA isn't best but his passive and stat aren't bad at all.
Here i suggested few. Check up stable and auction for more :)

Well i've been reading on forums that now the %dmg passive actually become fixed value when using a %dmg pet (instead of stacking as it supposed to be) but i'm not sure if i understand this rule. Could u plz enlight me? Does this new rule also applies to %crit / amor / speed passives?

1. The dmg value is fixed but is tiny, not worth wasting the skills points on I reckon. It does get amplified by bonus dmg but not enough for me. The others stack up to a maximum value (can't recall what it is) e.g. 20% max speed boost (I made this this up) means if you have 15% pet speed boost and 5% boost than any other boosts won't count on top of that

2. I personally only have one point in gale mastery to unlock it, I have points in frost bolt and fireball mastery too. I don't bother with speed passive bc heaps of my pets have speed boost (and gale adds speed too).

3. Nilbog, Slink and Fenris are probably best cheapest pets at the mo, as event pets they all add minimum 30 primary stat and 10%dmg for less than 50K.

Yes it does. As for armor and damage its very nice %. Use crit if you got too much points.

Yeah i will respec to drop gale mastery to lv.1 (its lv.5 atm) -- tested yesterday and yes it does cancel debuffs by just tapping on gale skill. so i can use the 4 spare points on durable passive since it does work.
Also gonna check those pets. :)
