Mythic pet crafting idea (Remiem suggested we post here)
First of all, thank you for listening to the community about not wanting an existing arcane pet to be used as a crafting component for a new pet.
That said, I do like the idea of having the option to basically upgrade a lower level egg and craft a better egg. I started thinking of some of the complaints of players and tried to find a solution that would:
A) Rejuvenate desire to run elites and make it worthwhile
B) Give people the ability to get a valuable pet by farming
C) Give us the excitement of getting drops that are necessary and worthwhile to use or sell
My suggestion is to have a legendary egg that only drops in elites, and two more crafting components that also only drop in elites. These would be rare drops and when you got all necessary items you could combine them to craft a new mythic egg.
We used to get a pet when we finished the last elite map and we didn't with tindirin. This would be a nice way to invigorate a bored customer base who is looking for something new and worthwhile to do. I don't know about other people but dovabear was a great incentive for me to run the event on more than just my main. Give us a reason to run!

I like this idea! Make it so that current legendary egg drops are no longer only just for newbies and for completing pet APs.
