Special Effects and Engineer Gloves

Firing gloves seems to conflict with many vanities, especially the ones with special effects. I'm pretty sure I don't have a complete list of pieces that are having trouble, but heres those that I know of for sure

Hearts of Hearing: floating hearts effect disappears
Little Luck 2012/Bigger Luck: floating four-leaf clovers effect dissapears
Little Love 2012: floating hearts effect disappears (fairly sure happens with Bigger Love, but I don't have one to test with. Someone please confirm)
Robo-Reindeer: entire pet disappears
Rover: entire pet disappears (already have a thread on this specific one, but it seems to be part of a larger problem)
Furious Eyepatch: special effect disappears
Agent's Bow: sparkles effect disappears
Shield of Justice: floating stars effect disappears
Thunder Hammer: glow effect disappears
Prototype X-1 Metal Helm: glowing eyes disappear
Trickster's Staff: glow effect disappears

And a thanks to Ozuyucalebam for help finding and testing

The torch effect on phase injectors and welding torches disappear when fired
Welding Torches: flame effect disappears
Phase Injectors(legendary): flame effect disappears
Void Holders: swirl effect around plasma canisters disappears
Any of the new 41-46 gloves: red glyph disappears
Flamethrower (from infested deck event): flame disappears

I'd like to add the glowing effects for the legendary and certain other power gloves disappear also. There may be a possible bug with the white rabbit ears not popping out eggs when you shoot also (glitch while shooting gloves not confirmed) ...More to come if we find any.

EDIT: Just tested, the hearts disappear as well.

Thanks for the info! This issue is currently being investigated internally, so hopefully a fix will be in the works and those sweet particle effects won't play hide and seek much longer. :)

NEW DISCOVERY

It is not only firing gloves that cause this. The engineer skill "leech" also causes effects to vanish.
I had noticed my big luck not working while playing with carbine, and at first suspected that they vanished because another player in the zone had gloves. However, I noticed the effect for leech is lightning, and tested later.
I am now convinced the issue is with the lightning that shoots from gloves.

Yeah I tested it....has to be the lightning.

The bday hats also stops working. any progress on this issue?

My back armor glitches...its not even attached to me...

Engineer Gloves hate Vanities. Fact till proven otherwise ;-)
Maybe one update they will get along nicely again.

For me as i fire from my glowing gloves(weld torch,phase injector) or if i use leach skill,the glowing effect of the glove vanishes :(
