LeaderBoard addition!?

My suggestion, I think there should be leaderboards separated into divisions or level based. If leaderboards were split up into divisions the levels should be something like this.

1-15
16-31
32-47
48-55
56-66
71-75
76-80

This could cover all main levels of pve,pvp, and ctf in one broad category without making each level have its own leaderboard.

Or you could make every level a separate leaderboard, All you would need is to add a level change option on the leaderboard to make it so players can cycle through to the level they're trying to look at. I feel this would possibly make other levels/the game more active. Giving people a chance to acquire being on the leaderboards again. And give them a goal to play towards everyday. Again this is just a thought, But I think it would be an awesome addition to the game!

An idea to add to yours

Every month sts could reset everyone's pvp/ctf kd, and reward the top 5 players every month with plat and gold!

If you're worried about not knowing how many kills total you got on your char, there could be a separate page dedicated to your pvp/ctf stats. A whole new page sts would have to make

I approve the above and upper above haha.
The plat reward should be rewarding but not substantial. Something one could save up. like 1-3 plat each month for top three. Top five get some gold no matter what.

This also is a pretty good idea, I like the double paged idea.

I like the leaderboard idea but not the resetting kds.

A new page for monthly tournaments would be made by devs. The normal page for Kds we have now wouldn't be touched. There could be a little button somewhere in the same page that can take you to the tournaments stats page or the resetting leaderboards kds

I feel these ideas should be implemented in the game, Everyone agrees and wants this to happen. I think it brings nothing but positivity.

Wow, good idea. I especially like the awards thing. Has anyone played Injustice for Android/iOS? They have separate categories. Top 10, Gold, Silver, Bronze... and the prizes get better as your rank gets higher. By the end of the week, the prizes are given. It'll take a lot to be in the weekly top 10, so the prize should be around 50 - 100 plat, or even better - 5 to 10 mil gold, since most people have no use of platinum right now, unless STS comes up with the next best thing to buy with plat.

This will not only make PvP more intense and engaging, but this would cause people to play various levels now. If there are less players at a certain level (like 51), and one player keeps getting the prize every time, eventually there would be competition (because of the prize). Also this would promote FFA because people would want more kills. The incentive of winning a prize would hopefully make players find new ways of beating certain classes. This could possibly contribute to the improvement of PvP imbalances.

This thread should definitely be moved to the General Discussion. No one really sees the Suggestions and Feedback section. If this thread doesn't get moved, I'd like to start a thread on it, with FFA's permission.

Also, I have a feeling that this is going to get implemented in AL. If it's a good idea for PL then its on the devs' list for AL.

Also if we are doing a reward system for being at the top of leaderboards, I think locked game kills should not count towards your stats. (To prevent boosting)

I really like the idea of the bracketed kill leaderboard but for pve it wouldn't really work well as kills stop counting when you lock XP.
So after a while the top five at every bracket except endgame would have the same (maximum) kill count.
But other than that, I think it really would be great :)

I realised PvE kills won't work out so instead let's introduce KILL POINTS system to PL!

EVERY map no matter of the lvl will give out KILL POINTS !

BUT your lvl will determine how much you get from mobs. So each map would be giving out points according to lvl difference between recommend lvl for that map and your lvl. If you are lower lvl then recommended you will get even more points! But if you are higher lvl you will start getting less and less points as you keep on lvling!

ALSO locking XP gain should not harm gaining Kill Points!

3001+ | 5 plats

( I am not sure how big PL is so these are just numbers that can be changed in order to balance things out )

why do they not reset leaderboard at the end of every season and remove flagg aps -.-
this way everyone will be able to make it if they wish so.
otherwise always the same ppl will stay on the lb always.
sts definitly needs to change the way they handle our leaderboard!

not at a bad idea but tbh.. the plat ranking u listed is way too much. it could start from 100 plats max. maybe and shouldnt be more then 10players(not sure about this either) ppl should work for it -hard i belive + if sts would do that how will they profit from this game if so many players will have so much plat. just think about it :)

I don't think you are looking at bigger picture:

- These are Monthly​ rewards.

- Everyone gets a new chance next month so we wouldn't have same people on top of the leaderboard.

- With the increase of Platinum prices I still think this is alright:

If you are on top of the leaderboard that means you have more KILL POINTS then anyone else in game for that month and you should be rewarded accordingly to your efforts ( 100 Platinum or so isn't enough because this would take enormous amount of time! ).

If you are on the bottom you are getting 5 plats per month. With 5 plats you can't do much, maybe buy an elixir or change ur stats, etc....

#Overall I don't think this would have such great effect.

#Simply , with this little amount you can't satisfy need for plats when Platinum prices are going up and whole community should start having plats accordingly.

#Platinum related stuff has been exclusively for players that spend real life money.

#This would allow players to host few farming runs / buy elixir or spend their monthly reward on something else entirely.

#This will NEVER be enough and will only tempt more players to spend money on plats just so they can - let's say finish lvling/farming ....

idea should be altered a little.. it would be unfair for a l12 pvper for example, to have around 20k kills in pvp and but a l15 which kills much easier, has around 30k kills.

It should be different, depending on the intervals of each active pvp level. for example,

L1 pvp

2 - 3

4 - 7

8 - 9

10 - 12

12 - 14

14 - 17

17 - 20

20 - 24

and so on...

I think making it more direct will make players choose proper pvp levels.
