Solo Engineer Build

I am looking for advice on how to spec an engineer for solo runs. There seems to be everything but this type of build on the forum. Does anyone have any advice? I do think that I will no spec into protection and shield other then that right now I play a support Engineer so I am kind of lost when it comes to the damage spells in actual game play.

If your solo engineering. Put six skill points on supression and learn how to use it efficiently.
Go into Battle aggressively and don't be afraid to burn a few stims. It's best to go all out in attacks and dot.
one on pain, six on transference, Six on Leech, six on wither, Six on decay, one on rev as a boost and incase someone joins you. Six on empathy.

Then get the best armour, either custom or plat bought and add the implants that compliment those armour. Then hand gun and shield or Gloves (if your pro enough)

Good luck ;-) solo running with engineers are a challenge but fun!

Yes indeed Mitch knows the engineer, restored my confidence in them, when I saw him solo voleria hehe

The only advice I can give u in solo runs is that use a lot of healing cast and use ur self buff that gives u armor. This always works for me I have only died 1 time and have killed 3600+ and im lvl 16

guys in pvp there is no way for me beating a commando. especially with their combos. any suggestions on how to make an engineer good for pvp?

I typically do this when I solo:

1. Cast Empathy right before I reach the group of mobs
2. Run into the middle of the mob with guns blazing, take out as many as I can until I am at half health
3. Cast Transference, which damages mobs and heals me to full
4. Cast Suppression, which freezes most or all mobs
5. Cast Pain, hopefully I am currently targeting a mob with decent health left
6. Cast Empathy
7. Switch targets and take out a mob with guns while waiting for Pain to detonate
8. Cast Transference
9. Either clean up the few mobs that are left, or repeat, starting from Step 4

The second level in the UC Shipyard (Biosphere Deck) is an excellent level to solo using this strategy. I leveled from 32-38 very quickly doing this, and even the mini-boss at the end of that level is very solo-able. It was so satisfying that I started letting out a maniacal laugh using the LOL emote after slaughtering each group of mobs.
