The ranges are glitching up! People near corners teleport, and when I'm pvping, bears slash me from 8-10m away! I know it's not my ping or anything, because it was green the whole time. Any ideas on what this could be? I haven't had this happen to me so I'm freaking out lol.
Maybe somebody could explain and tell me a method to avoid this?

I can't tell you anything about teleporting, but I believe using a slash with a ranged weapon will result in a second hit equivalent to an auto (no slash effects). Don't take my word for it though.
When people run away you can hit skills from an extra 2m. For example if a mage is running away from you, you can hs them at 10m instead of 8.Quote:

(Note the stars above my head indicating me getting slashed, also note the green ping. Another thing to notice is the bear looks like he's punching the ground, confirming him using the slash skill)
apparently ranges are pretty messed up in this game anyways. he's probably casting the skill using the reverse method to gain some extra range...
using slash out of range results in an auto :)

Actually this may be perfectly fine bc as far as I know the devs added the range thing on purpose to prevent too much just running away ez. Additionally if he is hitting u with sms witch has a 4m range + the 2m from you backing up that would give his slash a 6m range, which shows that there wasn't a lagg factor.Quote:
