BUG: My 2x damage elixir is doubling enemy damage, too

In SY1 and SY2 the guys with black dresses have this "sticky plasma grenade" weapon. Such a text is displayed above my toon and shortly there after about half my health is blown away. That's ok, but when I pot red it's damage to me is doubled. My 35 engie is left close enough to death to hear the wailing of the banshee, while my op is popped straight up.

Luckily I'm not one of those that interested in their death counts since I've died dozens of times because of this bug.

And for the record, the patch today didn't fix this. And this has happened to me ever since shipyard came out.

In short, the 2x dmg enhancer seems to also double the "sticky grenade" attack too. I vouche this bug.

Hmmm....sounds like the Goldfever bug in PL. If you caught the fever and had a pot running, when it "exploded", you died. If you weren't potted, you'd survive the "explosion". :( And I noticed much the same thing--I have an easier time surviving a sticky grenade without having potted.

I think this happens with the 3X pot as well. Funny since it's supposed to give you more AC but when I run with the 3x pot on I die a lot more often then without due to the grenades.

I think I've noticed this too. But I was unsure of whether it was a pot that was making this happen or the bombs were randomly doing critical damage.

I knew this was happening! I've always said that I take WAY more damage sometimes when I'm using elixirs. Hope they can figure out how to fix it!

Mmm...

Something I noticed is when a plat elixir guy try to overaccelerate the game like aggroing and mobbing more pack of mobs in front of a non elixir team, they tend to take more than 1 black robe with them.
So each of them throw a grenade at him...
Boom boom... boom? :)
Or just get shoot by too much cultists...

The team has no time to support firepower sometimes since people speed up too fast.

I will also state that I've noticed significantly increased damage taken from plasma grenades when using plat elixers (can't vouch for the 5 min daily freebie). I always use the 3x XP and 2x Damage elixers simultaneously.

Is it only the person taking the enhancer that is taking the damage? Or does the whole group take the double damage?

From the runs I've done, only the person with the enhancer takes the damage. At first, I was wondering why I kept instadying when hit with the sticky bombs. :P
