For iOS users, the game has been released to the app store. For Android users, the app is still in beta (Last bugs to be squished)
Its only for mobile to decrease the likelyhood of cheaters...among other reasons..
yes.
#11characters
PL and AL are MMORPGs, where as CoC is a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), in a way, CoC and AL/PL all have skills and character controlling, but CoC is more PvP oriented
Just the current ones included in beta will be available at CoC public release.
Other champions will come later.
Nope.
The point of Alpha and Beta testing is to play the game while finding bugs and suggesting ideas for the game.
Once it is released to public, all data/progress (minus Alpha/BugHunter badges)...
Currently, the game is under 100MB
During AlphaTesting, we suggested a Joystick, unfortunately iOS literature strongly discourages it :(
Update July 16, 2015
Added Information Related To Beta Testing
Call of Champions is a whole different game. AL is a MMORPG, CoC is a MOBA (pure PvP oriented game)
Updated to include game expected release date
Thanks Angeldawn,

Sorry Vystirch :(
