The game has a 2 sec delay. You won't see others with this delay, you won't see yourself with this delay, but when you move, others will see you move after 2 secs.

Not all twinks dummy and kill newbie players. Anyways it's also easier to get kills on higher levels. On low level the clashes are longer due to lower damage
