I saw this happen to me too.
I think it happens because the queen is not set to drop any orange items, so it just re-rolls into itself.

This should be fixed in the next patch.
I took out the trash items and set the queen to always drop an item.

This bug occurs to all the hand blasters with particles on them, and I don't know why. There wasn't any sort of fix I could do with the item, so I am waiting for support from our tech team.
