Here's the sequence that cleared it up for me.

Open store app and navigate to the "updates" tab. That version of arcane legends should have an update button instead of just the open button...

I'm also seeing significantly lower xp on those quests than expected. Kinda an anti bonus

Was able to get an update link to show up a couple of minutes ago.

On my iphone I can't get into the game yet. App store doesn't have a link for me to update, only open.
