I always go for pure int for my base stats. If you find your lacking survivability you can make it up with gears. The 'of will' helm and armour provide greater str over int.

Also managing aggro...

Like the others mention, Mage's amulet need a boost.

The +str should be +19/20 similar to the other amulets. I like the crit bonus but it needs to be higher, 2.75% is not worthy to be consider...

The developers clearly need to re-evaluate some mage's skills. The aggro from Lifegiver is too much (how are mages going to support when their skill are the cause of their death). Follow up by 2...
