warbird? rock? In the later levels (lv55 sewers), maybe so, but definitely not in the lower levels. They might "rock" in groups, but they will be very slow in solos.

Sentinel talon will carry you all the way to 55, with no issues, at which time, you will probably want to loot/earn/buy a custom set.
