The intention is that solo players sign up, but if many people from one guild want to play, one person can sign up the rest of the group. then, it'd be the responsibility of that one person to keep...

The actual tournament will begin when the registration closes and a computerized randomizer creates the teams. So you can say about a week when the registration closes.
