Thats because the guide is old. The ancient druid of brutality and living spirit of assault sets are good.

In the past iirc capped gear are stronger than the next few lvls right? For example, lvl 16 gear is stronger than lvl 17,18,19 and lvl 21 gear is stronger than lvl 22,23,24.

Nope shield wont really help low hp smurfs cause the shield's strength also depends on the amount of STR the smurf has..It works best for high hp high STR smurfs
