It took some digging but I found a picture of the old crates here.
So many people forget to include ethyl in their list of mage pets. He is very cheap and I consider one of the top 5 pets for a mage.
This works OK if u bought the elixer but if Shaz or Klass gave it too this is a waste of precious luck time. I typically rotate Brack and Ydra Forest which also gives u a chance at some blight eggs.
Only problems I could see with this bug is it adds extra stress onto the servers and individual devices emulating all these extra graphics. There is a reason STS doesn't code a constant moving floor.
Might be too late to do but when u put elixers on sale could you include the kits?
The free respec weekend has already come and gone since I posted this originally.

Not a bug just bad luck. Dev commented on this in another thread.
I would avoid gale for PvE. There are better skills.

No gale is still a sub-par skill. It can mess up groupings of enemies if used wrong (which I see most mages doing) and has long cool down.
Gales dash and speed boost are nice in certain...
For PVE I would do fire, ice, time and light. If you want to spec shield go for it and switch it out for light at bosses.
Ice is a great PVE skill when charged as it freezes and does group DOT.
For mages mythic sets are hands down better than magma. Magma only gives small boost to health and armor while decreasing all other stats by a lot. The trade off just isn't worth it.
I still like the runic flare proc best.
I agree since Shadowlurk has been fixed he is one of the best mage pets now.
My top 5 excluding Samuel:
Slag
Shadowlurk
Colton
Ethyl
Orion
This is no bug. Magmatic totem gear drops from elite tindirn while expedition rifles drop from crates hence the massive supply vs demand price difference. Most people who own this staff like the...
Shadowlurk became a bust for me when it came out his passive 10% arcane damage ability doesn't stack with his regular 10% DMG buff. I would sell him and use colton or ethyl for a good damage crit...
I would look at it with percentage gains vs lowest stats to put it in better perspective.
Armor 8.45% increase difference
Damage 1.1% increase difference
DPS who cares DPS is for rogues...
I ran hauntlet and noticed the timer was missing. I received a token at the end as well but my time didn't show then either. I only saw the issue once and it worked every time after but captrued a...
A few simple things you can do to focus on damage not dps.
1. Go full int with your base stats.
Int increases your % bonus dmg which multiplies your weapon dmage.
2. Invest in...
Best pets for mages give crit, int, %dmg boost and health boost. Pets that give the most combinations of these are best for mages. As I have said many of times ethyl is one the cheapest pets but I...
Yes especially rogues. Free respec weekend coming give it a try then.
There are several good guides in the forums to address this. Some of the basics you will fine I have listed below:
Always go pure int.
Skills:
Fireball
Ice
Time
Lighting
I think Shadowlurks arcane ability should be adjusted, specifically the 10% DMG buff. Since it's been confirmed that damage buffs do not stack this renders Shadowlurks arcane almost useless as most...
One of my favorite and cheapest mage pets is ethyl. That little frog has everything a mage needs.
I guess this means shadowlurks passive is mostly useless except for the crit modifier.
