Isn't the +2 damage because Lepre is only a level 1 item? When it would be a level 41 item then it would give + 7.5 (the exact amount of buff depends on the level of the item you put it on I believe).

In my opinion heal can be very nice when you do not have a lot of gold and are lower level. Saves a lot of pots. Pots are relatively cheap but not if you just starting. In Elite heal is useless...
