Mages have a shield and this helps a lot to reduce damage and stay immortal for 3 seconds. The last maps are difficult and have pools that take away your armor.

You can use Heroic Staggos AA and take zero damage too.

Star Beast Orb had no changes. The staff appears to have the same damage and much more DPS than the orb.

It doesn't last 5 minutes. After I die the portal disappears. This happens instantly.

You tried? Kraken Proc and switch to a damage set. When the Proc ends, wait 4 seconds and use a full Star Beast for a second Proc.

If I move away from the boss I lose the pet's buff. Since he prefers to attack than stay by my side. There is also the fact of leaving the range of the skill.

It has a lot of increases in critical, damage and boss damage. This stacks with pets and kraken equipment.

@Cinco consider farming energies as participating in the event. I lost gold and time farming to get the platinum tier on the last day. But my character was not considered progressed in the event.

@Cinco I had 1 character with 157 energy and 9k points. In 13 hours I could get platinum and I didn't get anything.

With the portal closed, I can still enter the event area and spend my energy. But there are no bosses to kill.
